This next post is dedicated to quite possibly, my all time favorite ingredient: Garlic!
I use Garlic in everything. If there was a Garlic flavored ice cream, I would probably eat it. So when our friends over at Hollister Family Farm called, letting us know that they were drowning in Garlic Scapes and could we use them for something, I was ridiculously excited to get my hands on them. When Buddy arrived home with bags full of these bright green scapes, all wild and wirey, I was giddy. Full on kid on Christmas morning giddy. In fact, I'm pretty sure there were squeals involved.
(This is how I know I'm doing what I love).
After a few experiments and lots of taste testing, our Garlic Scape & Walnut Pesto was born.
Straight from the farm folks! This stuff is ridiculous! As in sell out in less than 2 hours ridiculous. As in go home from one event, can 20 more jars, arrive at next event and sell out again ridiculous!
