I suppose this initial post should cover a couple of bases, like who we are and what we do. So, here goes...
Danielle meets Buddy at the Barley Pub and thinks, "Wow, he's dreamy." Buddy meets Danielle at the Barley Pub and thinks, "Wow, she's dreamy." Danielle travels to Hawaii, Japan, Montana, etc. Buddy travels to Hawaii, Oregon, Colorado, etc. Lots of life takes place. Danielle & Buddy get back in touch. Cue the sappy music and butterflies. Lots and lots of butterflies. Buddy drives cross country to be with Danielle.
Life begins anew. Case closed.
Fast forward almost 2 years later...Danielle & Buddy are engaged to be married, launching a family business, (hopefully) buying a farm, and spending their days alongside they're amazing son,
Mr. Jasper Sol...their greatest adventure thus far.
More on the above later. Now for some Sol Food fun.
Sol Food is a family run business producing farms fresh goods to the Seacoast area of New England. We grow the majority of our ingredients, sourcing from local, organic farms when need be. We currently vend at four markets a week and take part in local fairs and festivals throughout the seasons. Although currently we are located in Dover, we are "under agreement" on a humble 4 acre farm in Strafford, Danielle's hometown. So why the "Farms" connected to our business name when we are not in fact farm owners yet? Simply: the state made us add an additional word to Sol Food upon registering our business name. Since owning a farm is the eventual goal, it seemed the logistical choice.
More updates to follow. Promise. But for now, there is Sweet Potato Hummus to be made!
